COMPASSION - INTEGRITY
At the heart of all my work, lies compassion and integrity. When I read these words, my parents shine through. These values guide my approach throughout; from the point I receive an enquiry, to meeting any client or team for the first time, in the relationships formed and collaborative work, to the care taken in the endings of work.
The 13 years since qualifying, have shaped my strengths and passion in:
Building Relationships:
Building strong therapeutic relationships, be that with children, young people, families or teams, is central to psychological change. Supporting clients to feel vulnerable safely, learning I and others can be with their pain is often at the heart of work.
Formulation & Reflective Practice:
Providing thoughtful & responsive live formulation, I enjoy the dynamic and unpredictable nature of providing reflective practice, and it is my ability to trust in my knowledge and in the process of the group that underpins this work.
Trusting the process:
I am passionate and committed to the benefits of psychological support. I believe that understanding breeds compassion, which enables change. I am able to engage clients to trust in the process with me, and gradually build confidence in psychological support and their ability to make the changes they wish to.
Great care is taken to ensure every client is heard fully and their needs met in a meaningful way by tailoring evidenced based therapeutic models.
